Lumix was founded by Directors Anton Novopashin and Nathan Grange providing products and services to the meat and food processing industry. Working with manufacturers and end-users on maintenance and service solutions – to be that extra support for aftersales care and service, in breakdown and preventative maintenance. Building partnerships with suppliers and customers, to enable the end-user to become productive and profitable.


Lumix acquired Procut Australia, a company with over 40 years of history and experience in the meat and poultry industry. From manufacturing butchery equipment under ZERCO and NOLEX in Australia. To supplying the butchery, meat and poultry industries with specialised meat and poultry processing machinery, professional cutting tools and sharpening services, Procut Australia built a great reputation for its authenticity and extensive knowledge in the butchery and poultry industries. Lumix saw the acquisition as a great opportunity to expand its fast growing business, extend its product range and services, and continue Procut’s legacy. With the trading name of the business becoming LUMIX PROCUT.

About Nathan 

I trained and worked as a chef before making the move to sales in the food industry. Having sold equipment and supplies to the commercial and industrial food industries I found something that was not keeping up with customer expectations, the after sales care. Organisations were spending high amounts of money on quality equipment. Yet, they were being let down by the service and maintenance of their assets and investments. I recognised the service gap in the market and therefore the opportunity to help food manufacturers become more productive and profitable.

About Anton

Starting as a trade assistant at Primo Smallgoods, I completed an electrical apprenticeship there. This gave me a great deal of exposure and experience across a whole range of processing lines including knowledge of the process for raw to cooked products, through to packaging, labelling and inspection systems.

I enjoy problem solving, trouble shooting and working under pressure when it comes to breakdowns. My mission is to design and implement preventative maintenance plans for our customers to prevent and reduce down-time. I would like to build a strong service team to support the Australian market.
