What can the AllMaxx S separate?
Meat such as pork, beef and lamb; poultry carcasses, wishbones, wings and trimmings; fish frames and trimmings, including whitefish and salmon; fruit and vegetables; and Category 3 pet food material. AF also lists recycling of off-spec product such as yoghurt out of its packaging.
How much can it process per hour?
Between 500 kg/h and 5 t/h. The rate depends on the product and the drum perforation, which comes in 1, 1.3, 2, 3, 5 and 8 mm.
Does it need compressed air?
Yes. The FlexxPress® pressure system, belt scraper and belt tensioning are all pneumatic, so the AllMaxx S needs a compressed air supply as well as power for its 3 kW drive.
How long does it take to clean?
About 2 minutes for a full wash-down, according to AF. The frame is open and the drum comes out without tools.
